Part of the Berlin based clan that broke through a few years ago - that was headlined by Gonzales and Peaches - Mocky returns this month with a European Mocky has recorded his most personal and accessible album to date with Navy Brown Blues out in May. We asked him which artists we should be looking out for. You can guess his reply.

The coolest style in the world, ever.

What got you into making music?
My pet hamster.

What are your earliest musical memories?
"Air banding "Easy Lover" at the local town hall, aged 10."

What are the best clubs/venues you've ever played?
"The London ZOO."

What was your worst club/venues experience?
"Trying to play sweet music at dance clubs."

Which DJs/ Producers/ Artists do you most admire?
"Dr Dre, Quincy Jones, Miles Davis."

Which labels and genres are impressing you at the moment?
"The Internet, the Dipset Movement ( Jules Santana, Jim Jones etc)."

What music off-the-mainstream should we be looking out for?
"MOCKY!"

What is you all time favourite record and why?
"Stevie Wonder 'Innervisions', 'cos it's the combination of musical heritage and sonic exploration."
