Having appeared as one of the foremost amongst a strange flock of DJs who had nothing better to do than hang out in the basements of corner shops in Noho playing two songs together, Freelance Hellraiser started life as the bootie king. Most famous for his 'Stroke of Genius' mash up of The Strokes and Christina Aguiulera, surprisingly his first solo LP is devoid of bootlegs and instead features collaborations with members of Snow patrol, Freeform Five and Jacknife Lee.

The single 'Want You To Know' is Out 27 February.

In Philadelphia, opening for Paul McCartney.

John Peel, Jacknife Lee, Too Many DJs, Prince Paul, Lalo Schifrin, Kool Herc, George Martin.

Which labels and genres are impressing you at the moment?
Lot of French stuff at the moment, acts like Digitalism, Justice and Jackson to name a few.
